Cartier — Room Divider

Seoul Boutique

Designed exclusively for one of Cartier’s boutiques in Seoul, this exceptional room divider reveals the poetic force of Morgane Baroghel-Crucq’s textile artistry.

Conceived as a hand-woven surface, the piece is the result of an intricate, time-intensive process in which fiber becomes matter, texture, and light. Each thread is placed with intention, creating a subtle relief that shifts with the viewer’s movement and the surrounding illumination.

Enclosed between two glass panels, Baroghel-Crucq’s custom textile is preserved as both artwork and architectural element. The transparency allows the weave to breathe within the space, while its presence introduces a refined sense of intimacy — a quiet, almost tactile atmosphere that invites contemplation.

Neither purely decorative nor purely functional, this divider stands as a singular expression of contemporary fiber art. It transforms the interior into an experience, where craftsmanship, material sensitivity, and architectural elegance meet in perfect balance.
