Hand-Woven Headboard

This artisanal textile installation was born from a client’s encounter with one of Morgane Baroghel-Crucq’s artworks. Drawn to its texture and presence, the client envisioned a bespoke interpretation of the piece as a headboard — not as a replica, but as a new expression adapted to the space.

Morgane translated this vision into detailed drawings, exploring scale, rhythm, and composition. Once the design was validated, the weaving process began. Each panel was hand-woven and hand-painted directly on the loom, allowing silk and brass threads to interact through gesture, tension, and time.

Assembled into a multi-panel composition, the installation transcends function to become the centerpiece of the room — a refined statement where contemporary textile art and exceptional savoir-faire shape the atmosphere of a high-end interior.
