Her pieces are made entirely by hand, without tools, relying solely on precision, patience, and the physical rhythm of the gesture.

Drawing on ancient savoir-faire and experimentation, she unites vegetal, animal, and mineral materials — silk, linen, metal — each bearing its own memory and symbolism.

Emilie Grière of MU Studio is a French artist and designer committed to celebrating the intrinsic qualities of soft mineral materials. Grière’s soft mineral material is a composite of natural silica and oxygen. The development of this Soft Stone expands her designs into uncharted creative territory that offers exceptional beauty and uniqueness.

Solenne Jolivet skillfully transforms ordinary thread into vibrant masses imbued with colors and patterns reminiscent of traditional painting. She is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of thread beyond its conventional textile applications. "I am interested in the diversion of the raw thread material to give it other aspects and forms, different from what it was initially designed for," she says. Beginning with simple thread, she employs it as a pigment to craft intricate surfaces, melding colors and forging striking contrasts.

Founded by designer and glassblower Eve George alongside master glassblower Laurent Fichot, Atelier George creates collectible lighting and decorative objects that bridge contemporary design and traditional glassmaking. Ceramics have been a lesson in freedom and humility for Castle.  Being mostly self taught has allowed her to embrace the medium with an open mind for creation.  Each Crosland + Emmons fixture began with single pieces mimicking the shapes of nature and the imperfect beauty of life.  In making her creations into lighting, a connection between beauty and utility is born.
