Hand-Embroidered Details

Cartier Boutique, Paris

Lucie Touré brought her meticulous hand embroidery to an exceptional collaboration for Cartier, where embroidery and painting engage in a refined, tactile dialogue. Patiently executed by hand, each embroidered accent was designed to subtly emerge from the surface of a hand-painted screen by Groupe Gohard, conceived by Laura Gonzalez Officiel.

These delicate interventions introduce depth, texture, and relief, allowing the embroidery to catch the light, contrast with the brushwork, and enhance the painted composition without overpowering it. Needle and pigment respond to one another, transforming the screen into a layered work of decorative artistry — where craftsmanship is not merely applied, but thoughtfully integrated, revealing the beauty that arises when multiple savoir-faire converge.
