Hand-Embroidered Details - Wall Surface
Cartier, Monaco
For the Monaco boutique of Cartier, Lucie Touré brings her singular savoir-faire to a hand-painted wallpaper created by v.e.n.t.t.a, enriching the surface with delicate hand-embroidered details in glass beads. Working directly onto the painted composition, her intervention introduces depth, texture, and a subtle play of light, transforming the wall into a living surface.
Each embroidered gesture is executed by hand, responding to the rhythms and nuances of the painted motif. The glass beads catch the light with restraint, revealing their presence through movement and proximity rather than ornamentation. The result is a refined dialogue between painting and embroidery, where craftsmanship elevates the architectural experience.
This project, conceived within the interior design vision of Agence Moinard Bétaille and led by v.e.n.t.t.a, exemplifies the meeting of artistic disciplines and exceptional savoir-faire. More than a decorative element, the wall becomes an immersive artwork—one that celebrates the precision, patience, and intelligence of the hand in contemporary luxury interiors.
