Signature Collection
Buoy by Crosland & Emmons is a one-of-a-kind illuminated sculpture inspired by forms shaped and transformed beneath the water’s surface. Hand-sculpted in white stoneware, its irregular silhouette is punctuated by openings surrounded by organic, barnacle-like formations, giving the piece a tactile, almost naturally evolved character.
Selective touches of gloss glaze move across the raw ceramic surface, catching and reflecting light while emphasizing the depth of its texture. Light emerges softly through each opening, revealing the sculpture from within rather than simply illuminating the space.
Individually sculpted, every Buoy is an original work with its own form and character. Suspended alone, it becomes a singular sculptural presence; arranged in multiples, the individual pieces create an immersive illuminated installation at the intersection of art, craft, and light.
Each light is handcrafted and remains a unique model.
Starting Price: $3,800 List
Created by Crosland & Emmons in Florida, US.
