Guerlain Millésimes

Muguet & Cherry Blossom

In 2021, Lucie Touré collaborated with Guerlain to reinterpret two of the Maison’s most poetic millésimes: Muguet and Cherry Blossom, iconic fragrances celebrating Spring and renewal. Since 1908, Muguet has embodied the spirit of lily of the valley, and for over fifteen years, Guerlain has entrusted its annual millésime to designers whose creations reflect the excellence of French craftsmanship.

For the Muguet Millésime 2021, Lucie Touré designed and crafted a refined adornment in a fresh, Haute Couture spirit. Dozens of delicate blooms, sculpted from gilded paper and each finished with a luminous pearl, unfold across the flacon. Light-as-air leaves, fashioned from hand-dyed organza and meticulously stitched, bring movement and softness to the composition—an ode to Spring shaped by patience and precision.

That same year, Lucie also reimagined the Cherry Blossom Millésime 2021, creating a poetic floral adornment composed of individually hand-made blossoms. Each flower was crafted by layering hand-cut white and pink papers, accented with touches of gold, transforming the flacon into a unique, collectible piece. In total, more than 20,000 flowers were carefully handcrafted and assembled, reflecting an extraordinary commitment to detail and artisanal dedication.

Across both creations, Lucie Touré brings her singular sensibility to Guerlain’s heritage, transforming fragrance into an object of art—where tradition, couture-inspired embellishment, and exceptional savoir-faire come together in celebration of Spring.
