Cartier Bordeaux, France —
The Movement of a Landscape

Laurentine Périlhou holds a deep sensitivity to landscapes and the way nature shapes them over time. For Cartier, she conceived a textile work inspired by the shifting forms of the Dune du Pilat, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.

The dialogue between sand and sea echoes the Diamond Wave Tiara (1902) by Cartier. Entirely handcrafted in her atelier, the piece brings together embroidery and macramé, paying homage to the Maison’s high jewelry heritage.

Displayed within the Cartier boutique in Bordeaux, the work translates geological movement into a tactile, poetic language.
